And the Update:

I posted at 1 a.m. I did random stuff online and on my computer until 4 a.m., when I finally decided that the time had come to start working. I went online to the U of O library e-reserves, as instructed, and downloaded the document. About one paragraph into it, I took a nice little nap, waking up around 5 a.m. By that time, it was really time to work. So I forced myself to read—a task which required a constant hot rag on the eyes, because it was a boring text and I was Le Tired—and finally finished the three-page document. It is now 8 a.m., class is at 10 a.m., and I just finished printing the paper.

The required length was 1100 to 1500 words. Mine was 1363. One down, another to go. And a midterm somewhere in there... Thursday? It's all good.
